NO no nope: this is not "wrong" or "selfish" or "narcissistic"...and trust me, I'm a scholar regarding this touchy topic.
You may feel free to post notes to yourself, excerpts of books you love, lyrics of songs you hear in your head, whatever...as long as in some conceivable manner it offers benefit to others.
Blogs benefit others? No other reason for a blog to exist. Otherwise it is narcissistic exhibitionism.
But most things can indeed benefit others: make them laugh, teach them a trick, warn them of dangers, help them solve problem, inspire them with great writing skills or cool cartoons (hint hint), photos, digital art, etc.
